The nominations for December's Strategic Solutions Goal of the Month have been announced.

Alex Dobre, Christian Saydee, Luke Pardoe and Dan Gosling are all up for the accolade following a month of non-stop fixtures across the club.

Dobre, who went on to make his first team debut in the weekend's 4-0 win over Luton in the FA Cup, netted the opener in the Premier League Cup against Southampton, his first-time strike from just outside the area flying into the bottom right-hand corner.

Just a week later, the under-18s were in FA Youth Cup action and netted four goals against Barnet, two of which feature in this month's competition.

Saydee's fine strike that evening again came from outside the area, as he turned with the ball and hit it low and on target on the half-volley.

Later that night, Pardoe netted an equally impressive goal after James Oliver's cut-back found him at the back of the box. His first-time finish into the top corner completed a fine first-half display from Alan Connell's side against Barnet.

Finally, who could forget Gosling's winner against Chelsea ten days before Christmas.

Following a corner, Jefferson Lerma kept the ball alive by heading it back into the box, where an alert Gosling beat the offside trap and flicked the ball over both his and Kepa's head. Despite the best efforts of Cesar Azpilicueta, who scrambled to try and clear it off the line, and a lengthy pause for VAR, Graham Scott eventually awarded the goal.
