AFC Bournemouth can confirm that non-transparent flasks and drink containers are not permitted at Vitality Stadium.
The club are advised that one of the methods used to smuggle flares/pyrotechnics into stadia is in non-transparent drinks containers.
The paramount responsibility of the football club is the safety of those attending games at Vitality Stadium and we will take whatever steps necessary to ensure that.
Please note, supporters are entitled to bring transparent flasks and drink containers to the stadium and stewards will be conducting checks prior to entry.
Additionally, umbrellas are also not permitted inside Vitality Stadium on a matchday for safety reasons.
There will be containers by each turnstile for supporters to store umbrellas during the game, but the club is not liable for any items left there and any supporters storing items are doing so at their own risk.
