AFC Bournemouth's Vitality Stadium pitch from the stands.

AFC Bournemouth AFC Bournemouth

AFC Bournemouth’s first game of the new Premier League season is against Cardiff City on Saturday and for those who have never been to Vitality Stadium before or who join us for every home game, here’s a handy list of what’s happening on the day before kick-off.

New signings Diego Rico and Jefferson Lerma will be unveiled to supporters before kick-off, so make sure you get into the ground at approximately 2.45pm to welcome the new lads to Vitality Stadium!

9am TICKET OFFICE OPEN

Supporters can collect their tickets for the Cardiff game from 9am at one of the collection windows.

Tickets are also on sale for West Ham United away (general sale), Leicester City at home (14+ points) or Chelsea away (7+ away points).

The ticket office is also open 20 minutes after the final whistle.

9am SUPERSTORE OPEN

The new home, away and third kit and all of the new training wear is available in-store in all sizes for you to purchase from 9am.

Name, numbering and patches are available on all shirts, click here to view the latest squad numbers.
The superstore will also remain open 20 minutes after the final whistle.

9am CAR PARK OPEN

The South Stand car park, behind the stadium, costs just £1 to park, it does fill up roughly 75 minutes to kick-off, so arrive early.

If there’s no space here, Harewood College is open from 12.30pm and is free to park – here’s a link on google maps.

Alternative parking can be found at Sovereign Shopping Centre for £2 for four hours or £4 for 24 hours.

Wherever you park though, please respect local residents.

12pm GREAT ESCAPE BAR OPEN

If you can’t get into the 1910 bar, the Great Escape is a good alternative outdoors and is located outside of the Superstore.

Hot food and drink available and to get in, just present your match ticket to get entry.

12pm 1910 BAR OPEN

This is located next to the media entrance in the Vitality Main Stand and is for home supporters only.

This bar is a great place to meet prior to the game but it does get busy, so bear this in mind before arriving.

Hot food and drinks are available.

12.30pm DC LOUNGE OPEN

This is open to both home and away disabled supporters pre-match and is based on the ground floor and first floor of the Vitality East Stand.

There is a pre-match quiz as well as the Sky/BT early kick off being aired.

1.30pm TURNSTILES OPEN

Supporters can take their seats from 1.30pm, please bear in mind that for supporters’ own safety, there will be 100% searches of every single supporter.

Get inside the ground early to make the most of the pre-match combo, which is a pie/burger and a pint for £5. You can have a soft drink instead for £4 for the bundle.

The Junior Cherries meal deal is also available, it’s just £2.50 when you present your JC membership card.

2pm PRE-MATCH ENTERTAINMENT

The new Bournemouth Foodbank point will be present at every matchday until the end of the season.

Voted by supporters, Bournemouth Foodbank are the club’s official supporters’ charity partner for the upcoming campaign and help local people in crisis through the provision of emergency food. Click here for more information.

There’s plenty of big screen videos and quizzes to keep you entertained and we will also be giving a special welcome to our fans’ champion Peter Gaze.

Peter will deliver the matchball as a lifelong Cherries fan who is recovering from bowel cancer. Want to nominate a fans’ champion? Email [email protected] to put someone forward!
