Internationals: Who, where and when?

AFC Bournemouth AFC Bournemouth

13 AFC Bournemouth players have been selected to represent their nations in the November international break.

It comes at a pivotal time in the UEFA EURO 2024 qualifiers as the group stage comes to an end, with a number of the squad facing must-win matches.

Illia Zabarnyi and Ukraine appear to have set up a winner-takes-all game with reigning champions Italy, with the winner of the final game set to follow England out of Group C.

Our Welsh trio – David Brooks, Chris Mepham and Kieffer Moore – will also have key games as they need to win against Armenia and Turkey to qualify from Group D, something they wouldn’t have thought possible a few months ago.

Milos Kerkez and Hungary could need just a single point from their remaining two games to confirm their place in Germany next summer.

Meanwhile, Andrei Radu’s recent selection for the Cherries has earned him a recall to the Romania national team, who are on the brink of qualifying from Group I.

The club’s African contingent will begin their FIFA World Cup 2026 qualification stage, with Dango Ouattara’s Burkina Faso facing Guinea-Bissau, Hamed Traorè’s Ivory Coast taking on Seychelles and Antoine Semenyo’s Ghana kicking off with Madagascar.

Development squad midfielder Nathan Moriah-Welsh will be hoping to win League B’s Group D in the CONCACAF Nations League with Guyana and earn promotion to League A.
