Following the conclusion of the Monday night game at the Emirates Stadium, AFC Bournemouth's Official FPL League is hotting up heading into the final gameweek of the month.

Here’s a look at what’s going on as another prize is up for grabs for October and a glimpse at what to expect from the Cherries in the upcoming weeks.

LEAGUE LEADER

Mahmoud Mahdy in Egypt is currently top the AFC Bournemouth fan league, with Monday night’s fixture providing him with some huge points.

With captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scoring 24 points, fellow Gunner Mesut Ozil also scored 12 points with an impressive display.

Antonio Rudiger and Jordan Pickford also scored highly as Mohamed leads the way for an October prize.

He also secured the most points in the entire league with 94 in total, so congratulations on a top week Mohamed!

The overall leader of the league over the past three months so far is Mou Niir's Bouknana Ciiity 555, who has a whopping 671 points.

CHERRY TO WATCH

Owned by 8.7% of managers, Steve Cook is not exactly under the radar, particularly with 12 points in his last two games thanks to back-to-back clean sheets.

With a total of 37 points across the season, with a huge 14-point haul after a goal and an assist against West Ham, Cook is proving popular at a snippet of a price at £4.6m.

But Cook is in line for an overdue bonus points haul in the upcoming weeks, as the defender has made the most clearances in the entire league this campaign – a huge 71 in the games so far.

Playing every week and settled into the back line, Cook may be one to watch, particularly with his goal threat.
