World champion and AFC Bournemouth fan Chris Billam-Smith will look to continue making history as details of his next fight have been announced.
Billam-Smith will be defending his WBO World Cruiserweight Championship on Saturday 15th June against South London rival Richard Riakporhe.
The bout will take place at Selhurst Park, with AFC Bournemouth season ticket holders and points holders receiving pre-sale access to tickets for the event. Additional details will be announced in the coming days.
The defending champion and former Cherries season ticket holder, Billam-Smith will look to retain the belt he won during an emotional night at Vitality Stadium when he beat former stablemate Lawrence Okolie.
The Gentleman then defended his title against Mateusz Masternak at the Bournemouth International Centre before the eagerly awaited bout with Riakporhe – the two having last fought in 2019 which went down to a controversial judges’ decision.
A percentage of every ticket sold will be donated to the Palace For Life Foundation, the official charity of Crystal Palace.
