A bumper selection of pictures from historic Reading win

Scott Parker's class of 2021 maintained their unbeaten start in the Championship with a record-breaking 2-0 win over Reading on Saturday.

Dominic Solanke and Jamal Lowe were on target as the Cherries extended to 15 games their superb run without tasting defeat.

It created a new club record, passing the previous best set by Bill McGarry's Cherries in 1961/62.

The Cherries are the only unbeaten team in the EFL and it was also the first time the club had gone 15 consecutive league games unbeaten in the top two tiers, Eddie Howe’s team managing 14 when they won promoted to the Premier League in 2014/15.

Solanke bagged his 12th goal of the season following a well-worked corner routine straight from the training ground on the stroke of half-time.

And Lowe doubled their lead just three minutes after coming off the bench in the 56th minute as the Cherries ended October with a perfect record of five straight wins.

Mark Travers made an important save from Scott Dann in added time as the Cherries extended to seven the number of successive away clean sheets in the league, the team now having gone more than 11 hours without conceding.
