Lewis Cook has been named as the club's PFA Community Champion for the 2021/22 season.
Selected by AFC Bournemouth's Community Sports Trust, the central midfielder picked up his award at Vitality Stadium before the final home game against Millwall.
Throughout the year, Cook has taken part in mental health workshops, supporting a Bournemouth University event and reflecting upon his time spent injured, while also sharing advice on how to keep a positive mindset.
He was also involved in an open training session, interacting with the fans who were at home for so long during the Covid-19 pandemic.
The 25-year-old has also been generous with his donations in the community, going round the local area at Christmas with Steve Cook to give lunch to 20 families.
Lewis also supported a player from AFC Bournemouth Girls under-16s, who required surgery following an ACL injury just like his.
