Cherries Community Fund makes December donations

AFC Bournemouth's Cherries Community Fund has recently donated £10,995.87 into the local community in the latest panel of donations.

The following donations have been distributed to local causes in the area: 

  • £600 donated to The Pop In Place Bere Regis for repairing the stage floor in the old village hall.
  • £1,000 donated to The Centre, Ferndown (CIC) for providing Warm Parcels for the vulnerable in the community.
  • £1,000 donated to the Friends of Hampreston First School towards installing the outdoor classroom.
  • £300 donated to the Wessex Cancer Trust for the purchase of a tablet for the Bournemouth Centre.
  • £1,000 donated to ‘Blakes Journey’ towards the purchase of an ‘Eye Gaze Machine’ for Blake.
  • £1,000 donated to the Friends of Poulner Junior School towards the purchase of a playground climbing course for the school.
  • £950.88 donated to Wild and Free Therapy C.I.C. for an Adaptive Surfboard, helmets, and buoyancy aids.
  • £1,000 donated to Iford Academy (Tregonwell) for the purchase of items towards building a community garden.
  • £144.99 donated to Poole Sea Cadets for Sailing training aids.
  • £1,000 donated to The Power House (Poole) for timber boards for raised beds for the Community Food Growing Space.
  • £1,000 donated to Citygate Church for their Christmas Hamper Appeal.
  • £1,000 donated to The Listening Ear towards providing counselling packages to Children and Young People in BCP.
  • £1,000 donated to the HealthBus Trust towards the Homeless Outreach Provision and support.

The total donated from this panel is £10,995.87 meaning an overall total since the fund started of £187,253.67 has been given to worthy causes!
