Bevan joins Truro City on loan

Owen Bevan has joined Truro City on a work experience loan until the end of the season.

He'll link up with Paul Wotton's side ahead of their weekend clash, as the Cornwall outfit head to Hendon for a Southern League fixture.

Bevan, who is captain of the under-18s this season, will still be able to feature for the Cherries due to the nature of his loan and will continue to train with Alan Connell around Truro's fixtures.

The central defender played all 90 minutes and kept a clean sheet as the under-18s beat QPR 2-0 to progress in the FA Youth Cup on Wednesday evening.

He's also featured for Shaun Cooper's development squad this term, most recently at Farnborough in the Hampshire Senior Cup, having travelled with the first team to Spain in pre-season too.

Bevan joins Truro, where young striker Euan Pollock spent the first part of the season on loan, with the side sat 12th in the table but with up to four games in hand.
