Travers wins Golden Glove

AFC Bournemouth goalkeeper Mark Travers has secured the Sky Bet Championship Golden Glove.

The 22-year-old shot stopper won the award, having kept the most clean sheets in the division this season.

Travers was in goal for 20 shut outs in the league in 45 appearances, two more than Huddersfield Town's Lee Nicholls and Sheffield United's Wes Foderingham.

It caps off a fantastic season for the Cherries man, who became the club's first-choice goalkeeper under Scott Parker.

Scott Parker told afcb.co.uk: "Mark has worked tirelessly and improved drastically this season. It's a credit to him that he has won this award and I'm really pleased for him."

Travers won a host of other awards, including the Supporters' Player of the Season, while the Cherries grounds team collected their Sky Bet Championship Grounds Team of the Season award.
