Team news: Zabarnyi on the bench for Cherries

Recent recruit Illia Zabarnyi is named in the AFC Bournemouth squad for the first time since joining the club from Dynamo Kyiv in January.

The 20-year-old Ukraine international is among the Cherries substitutes, the defender having recovered from an ankle injury.

He is joined on the bench by frontman Marcus Tavernier who returns having missed the past four games with a hamstring problem.

Cherries head coach Gary O’Neil selects an unchanged starting line-up, the same team which triumphed against Liverpool and tasted defeat at Aston Villa.

Skipper Neto leads the Cherries fresh from having signed a three-year contract extension, keeping the goalkeeper at Vitality Stadium at least until the end of the 2025/26 season.

Dominic Solanke will be looking to score for the fourth game in succession against Fulham, the striker having been on target when the teams drew 2-2 at Craven Cottage in October and in both games in the Championship last season.

Fulham arrive in Dorset following an incident-packed FA Cup quarter-final which ended in defeat against Manchester United last month.

Leading goalscorer Aleksandar Mitrović and frontman Willian were both sent off at Old Trafford, leaving them suspended for today’s match.
