Team news: Solanke latest, Cherries to be strong at Burnley

Jonathan Woodgate says he won't be experimenting in his team selection for Tuesday evening's Emirates FA Cup tie away at Burnley.

The Cherries head to Turf Moor in the fifth round on the back of a weekend win with Woodgate, who is in temporary charge of the first team, also feeding back on the fitness of two of his players.

Dominic Solanke missed the win over Birmingham City and is also sidelined for the trip to Lancashire, while Junior Stanislas is ready to feature if called upon.

"Solanke I think will be out for a bit of time, but Junior's absolutely perfect," said Woodgate in his pre-match press conference. "Junior's right as rain, he trained yesterday (Sunday) and trained really well.

"We're just waiting on the prognosis on Solanke, to see on the amount of time he's going to be out for."

After updating on two of the team's mainstays, Woodgate confirmed that he wouldn't be ringing the changes against Sean Dyche's side and would be looking to field a strong team.

"I won't be experimenting, there will be no experimenting going on," he said. "I know what I want out of the game. We'll be going there with a strong team wanting to win the game and if we can do that on Tuesday it brings more confidence, especially against a Premier League team.

"It's an FA Cup tie and I want to keep that winning mentality going. We've won one game now and want to win the next one, that's against Burnley. It doesn't matter if it's the FA Cup or a league game, we're going to try and win.

"When players start getting wins under their belt and start playing with confidence you never know what will happen.

"They're a fantastic team led by a really good manager who has them working in a different way to others in the Premier League. Sean Dyche has done an incredible job up at Burnley and the fans should be thankful for him."
