Caretaker-manager Jonathan Woodgate celebrated victory in his first game in charge as AFC Bournemouth registered their first Championship double of the season.

The Cherries went behind to Scott Hogan’s opener before Arnaut Danjuma, who scored in the 3-1 win at St Andrew’s in November, levelled with a finely-taken sixth goal of the season.

Jack Wilshere, who provided the assist for Danjuma’s goal, headed the Cherries into a 61st-minute lead after being picked out by Adam Smith’s cross.

But they were pegged back when Hogan netted his and the Blues’ second goal with a glancing header just seven minutes later.

However, the Cherries ended their run of four straight league defeats when Philip Billing applied the final touch to a Danjuma free-kick 13 minutes from time.
