AFC Bournemouth picked up a crucial three points in fine attacking style as they breezed past ten-man Middlesbrough at Vitality Stadium.
AFC Bournemouth winger Marc Pugh marked his 250th league appearance for the Cherries with a goal and felt that the performance was 'electric' against Middlesbrough.
Pugh helped set the tone with an assist after 96 seconds for Joshua King's opener, and the popular Cherries man felt that the side wanted it more in the early offing.
"It's a great day to make my 250th league appearance," he said.
"But most importantly, we got a crucial three points - but I'm delighted, 1-11 we were electric and started so well.
"Our pressing was excellent and we showed more desire to win it I think, particularly in those first 10 minutes.
"Our movements and rotations were superb and we showed great desire, it just shows the characters we have in the dressing room to bounce back from last weekend's defeat.
"The big games we turn up, we want to beat last year's tally."
Pugh's goal was a trademark strike, he cut inside from the left and curled a magical effort into the top right corner.
And the 30-year-old revealed that the goal was all about the practice he's put in over the years.
"It was a similar goal to the West Ham one last season," he added.
"Any Premier League goal is special in the memory and today is no different. I just practice it in training and after training, it's the type of finish I practice a lot.
"There's lots of situations when you're one on one with the full back and it becomes an art if your practice it, I'm really pleased."
