Seven-time French champions Olympique Lyonnais have been added to AFC Bournemouth's pre-season schedule and will visit Vitality Stadium in August.
The friendly with Lyon will take place at the home of the Cherries on Saturday 3rd August with a 3.30pm kick-off, a week before the new Premier League season gets under way.
Ticket details will be announced for the fixture in due course.
Lyon - who are led by new head coach Sylvinho, who played with Arsenal and Manchester City during his playing career - finished last season's Ligue 1 season in third place, meaning the side will be competing in the Champions League next season.
