Cherries welcome Sheffield United on opening day

AFC Bournemouth’s 2019/20 Premier League campaign will kick off with a game against Sheffield United at Vitality Stadium on Saturday 10th August.

The Blades are back in the top flight for the first time since 2007 after finishing second in SkyBet Championship under the guidance of Chris Wilder last season.

Cherries’ first away game of the campaign is also against another newly-promoted side - Aston Villa at Villa Park - on 17th August.

Throughout the month of December Eddie Howe’s side will travel to Crystal Palace, Chelsea and Brighton & Hove Albion, with home games scheduled against Liverpool, Burnley and Arsenal.

At approximately 32 miles, the shortest away fixture of the season is against Southampton at St Mary’s, with the game due to take place on 21st September.

The season will conclude on May 17th with an away game against Everton at Goodison Park.
