Injury News: Senesi improving ahead of Spurs

Gary O'Neil has provided an injury update on his squad ahead of the weekend's visit game against Tottenham Hotspur.

The Cherries travel to north London for a 3pm kick-off on Saturday afternoon and will be looking to record back-to-back away wins following last week's 1-0 victory against Leicester City.

O'Neil began by discussing the progress of Marcos Senesi, who missed the game at the King Power Stadium six days ago.

"Marcos Senesi has done bit of work and we hope to have him in the squad," he said.

"Hamed Traore will miss out, he's not quite ready sadly.

"Everyone that was available for the last one is still available for this one, so we're in a pretty good place.

"It's certainly good to have Marcos back around it ahead of this weekend."

The head coach went on to discuss his options at the back, after a clean sheet against Leicester City last week and Senesi nearing a return to action.

"There are decisions to make," O'Neil continued.

"We have centre-backs that have performed well. Chris Mepham did well last weekend, Jack Stephens has been solid for us too.

"With Marcos, he's put in some good performances as well and even Illia Zabarnyi is getting fitter all the time.

"As we've seen, we need all those players as it doesn't take much for someone to get injured.

"Meps kept himself in good shape, stayed sharp and he was able to come in and put in a really good performance last weekend."
