Injury news: Latest on Kelly, Brooks, Rothwell and Pearson

AFC Bournemouth interim head coach Gary O’Neil has said that the Fulham game will come too early for Lloyd Kelly and David Brooks.

Skipper Kelly has been missing since the Nottingham Forest game due to injury, while Brooks is still recovering and neither will be travelling with the squad to Craven Cottage.

Elsewhere, Joe Rothwell and Ben Pearson are back training with the team, with O’Neil pleased to have extra options available to him.

“Overall we’re really good fitness wise,” he said.

“The Fulham game comes too quickly for Lloyd Kelly and David Brooks, but apart from that everyone is doing really really well.

“Joe Rothwell and Ben Pearson are back training now and we’ve had a good week from both of them. I’m not sure if they’ll be involved but they’ve both had a good week and we’re really pleased with them.

“It’s nice to have them back because we’ve been a little short numbers wise in the last couple of weeks, but with people coming back it gives us decisions to make which is really nice.

“Joe and Ben will both add something and we’re pleased to have them back.”
