AFC Bournemouth tightened their grip on a Championship play-off place after triumphing 3-1 against runaway leaders Norwich City at Carrow Road.
The Canaries, promoted to the Premier League following results earlier in the day, took the lead through Emi Buendia’s fifth-minute goal.
However, the hosts were reduced to ten men when defender Dimitris Giannoulis saw red for a poor challenge on Ben Pearson after 17 minutes.
The Cherries made the most of their numerical advantage and shook off the disappointment of seeing Dominic Solanke’s 21st-minute effort chalked off for offside.
Second-half goals from Sam Surridge, Arnaut Danjuma and Lloyd Kelly saw the Cherries move seven points clear in the play-off places with just four games remaining.
A sixth successive victory and a fourth consecutive league double condemned Norwich to a first defeat in 14 games and a first reverse at Carrow Road since early October.
