AFC Bournemouth’s first Boxing Day win in the Premier League – an emphatic 3-0 victory over Fulham – saw them climb into tenth place in the table.

The Cherries extended to seven games their unbeaten run in the top flight having been 19th with just three points two months ago to the day.

Andoni Iraola’s in-form team made it six wins in their past seven games thanks to goals from Justin Kluivert, Dom Solanke and Luis Sinisterra.

Kluivert’s opener on the stroke of half-time owed much to the brilliance of playmaker Alex Scott, the pair combining having been restored to the starting line-up.

Solanke netted for the fifth league game in succession against Fulham, the striker scoring a penalty after Antoine Semenyo had been fouled.

His 13th goal of the season saw him draw level with Doug McGibbon in eighth place on the list of club’s record league goalscorers, the pair on 65.

Substitute Sinisterra came off the bench to cap an excellent performance with a stunning third goal in added time.
