Ben Whitfield has extended his initial six-month loan deal at Port Vale.
The youngster has made 23 appearances for the League Two outfit and has netted on three occasions, the most recent of which came just last week in a 4-0 win over table-toppers Luton.
The midfielder will remain with Neil Aspin's side until the end of the season, with the Valiants currently sat 18th in League Two.
