AFC Bournemouth midfielder Matt Burgess has joined Southern Premier South Truro City on a work experience loan.
Burgess, who is a member of the development squad at Vitality Stadiu
m, recently hit the comeback trail having recovered from a long-term injury.
The 18-year-old graduated to Shaun Cooper’s squad having spent two successful seasons with Alan Connell’s youth team.
Burgess joined the club from Brighton & Hove Albion at under-15 level and featured in last season’s Central League Cup win.
He will link up with Cherries team-mates Owen Bevan and Ferdinand Okoh at Truro and could make his debut when they host Wimborne Town at Bolitho Park on Saturday.
