Bevan joins Hibs on loan

Centre-back Owen Bevan has joined SPL side Hibernian on loan for the remainder of the season.

The defender returned from a six-month loan spell at Cheltenham earlier this month, making 14 appearances in all competitions at Whaddon Road.

His mature performances in the first half of the season saw the 20-year-old impress throughout a difficult period for the club.

Bevan has also enjoyed loan periods at both Truro City and Yeovil Town, but will get his first experience of Scottish football when he links up with Nick Montgomery's side.

The youngster becomes the second Cherries player to be loaned to Hibs this window, following in the footsteps of Emiliano Marcondes, while Nathan Moriah-Welsh made a permanent move to the club.

The SPL outfit currently sit seventh in the table, with 26 points from 22 games.
