Cherries welcome CMP Print to Christmas Soccer School

AFC Bournemouth Community Sports Trust have hosted two weeks of Soccer Schools across the Christmas period.

Ahead of Christmas,  AFC Bournemouth Community Sports Trust welcomed soccer school sponsor CMP Print to the final session of the week, with a tournament day taking place at the Littledown Centre.

A session which saw over 70 children, aged 7-14 years old taking part, was finished off with a group presentation with representatives from CMP

The local printing company had produced a team poster for each of the soccer school players to go home with, as well as bringing along Player of the Day prizes which were awarded to six children from across the different tournaments.

Given out for reasons including best attitude, being respectful and playing well throughout the day, six lucky children of various ages received an AFC Bournemouth and Umbro football from CMP.

Following the event, head of community Steve Cuss shared his delight at the soccer school's success.

“We are very grateful to CMP Print for the continued support at the soccer schools, which are enjoyed by so many," he began.

“The posters receive by all and the footballs for the players of the day were very well received by all the children.

"We look forward to continuing the partnership with CMP Print throughout 2018.”
