Cameron Carter-Vickers has this week been engaging with young female footballers via Zoom.
Members of the under-10, under-12, under-14 and under-16 girls teams were all given the opportunity to listen and speak to the defender about his career to date.
Each participant was able to ask a question, with Carter-Vickers shedding light on his career to date and the individual characters within the dressing room at Vitality Stadium.
He also offered some great advice on how the girls can keep improving and what motivated him to make it in the professional game.
Sponsored by Bournemouth University, all four girls teams have had a challenging season, with national lockdowns preventing any form of training or matches since December.
With a return just under three weeks away, the call with Carter-Vickers provided a good opportunity for the girls to engage with one another over Zoom before being reunited next month.

“During lockdown we have met regularly with all the girls teams, delivering workshops and hosting social events.
“It was great for all the girls to be joined by Cameron, who answered a number of questions which has helped them as they prepare for a return to training.”
