Cherries in new partnership with Powerful Allies

AFC Bournemouth have announced an exciting new partnership with business energy solutions company Powerful Allies.

The relationship spreads over two seasons and will see Powerful Allies become official partners of both AFC Business and the AFC Bournemouth Community Sports Trust, the club’s independent charity wing.

Powerful Allies work closely with schools and businesses around the UK to provide them with best value energy procurement services, with a focus on renewables, energy reduction projects and green energy solutions.

Their emphasis on a transparent and honest approach is a shared common objective with AFC Bournemouth and the communities and businesses they work within.

As part of the agreement, a bespoke community project will also be created to encourage sustainability, decarbonisation and ways to help the environment.

This community project will be delivered by Steve Cuss and his experienced team within the Community Sports Trust in schools in Bournemouth, Poole and across Dorset, with the firm also set to join webinars as they get to know and begin to work with the other AFC Business members.

Amy Marks, partnerships manager at AFC Bournemouth, expressed her delight at the new agreement: “It’s really exciting for us to have Powerful Allies on board as a new partner.

“One of the club’s main objectives is to ensure we are as environmentally friendly as possible and this links seamlessly with our relationship with Powerful Allies and their strong knowledge and credentials within the sector.

“We’re so pleased to welcome Powerful Allies into our network of partners and are now looking forward to our future ventures together.”

Chris Niblett, director of energy services at Powerful Allies, added “We’re delighted to be partnering with AFC Bournemouth and bringing Powerful Allies’ vision for cost savings and sustainability to their partners and the wider community.

“Powerful Allies work tirelessly to reduce our clients’ costs through bespoke energy procurement while providing expert advice on reducing energy consumption through behavioural and technological changes, both of which are underpinned by sourcing 100% renewable power.

“We are proud to be associated with the wider community scheme and look forward raising energy awareness through the AFC Bournemouth Community Sports Trust.”
