The first networking event of 2024 has been a huge success as AFC Bournemouth’s business arm, The Net, kick off the year.
A Business Breakfast was held at Bournemouth University, with almost 100 guests in attendance.
Those there enjoyed a delicious selection of breakfast whilst networking with like-minded local business people.
Attendees were then treated to an interactive tour of the state-of-the-art Human Performance Laboratory and Design & Engineering Innovation Centre, used extensively in the week for student learning, as well as academic research.
Guests got stuck into workshops and learned plenty from researchers at BU.
Dr Andrew Callaway, Principal Academic & Director of Human Performance Laboratories at Bournemouth University, shared his delight at the event’s success with afcb.co.uk:
“It was great to be able to host a range of businesses in our human performance laboratory and talk to them about the innovations and research we undertake and the difference it is making, I was pleased to see that businesses saw a benefit in speaking more with us about it too.”
