Voting open: September Goal of the Month

AFC Bournemouth’s second Strategic Solutions Goal of the Month vote is now open.

September’s candidates maintain the high standard of the competition, with goals from the under-18s, under-21s and first team in contention of winning the gong.

Under-18s striker Luke Pardoe scored a stunning solo effort against Bristol Rovers in the Youth Alliance Cup, with the youngster taking the ball from the half-way line to then dribble his way into the penalty area to slot in.

Another piece of individual brilliance is the second nomination, from Irishman Gavin Kilkenny.

In the Hampshire Senior Cup at Vitality Stadium, the midfielder scored a hat-trick – with the pick of the goal a magical 50-yard lob.

The third goal, which was scored in the same game, was a real team goal. Playing out from the back, Lloyd Kelly rounded off the superb team move with a sublime finish in the penalty area.

And the fourth and final nominee is Harry Wilson’s goal against Southampton, helping the Cherries secure a first ever win at St Mary’s.

Another team move, the Welsh international rounded off a sweeping attack to finish well in the box.

You can cast your vote on the club’s Twitter poll here.
