Vacancy: Car Park Assistant (casual)

A vacancy has arisen for a casual Car Park Assistant to join us on a matchday at Vitality Stadium.

Title: Car Park Assistant (Casual) 
Reports to: Operations Director 
Location: Vitality Stadium, main and south car park
Contract Type: Casual Work        
Hours: Approx. 3 hours per matchday
Pay: £10.42 per hour

Off the field, there is a renewed focus on growth and we are looking to add to our car park assistant team on home matchdays.

Main Duties

  • Provide a welcoming and professional first impression to matchday visitors at Vitality Stadium. 
  • Proactively assist in directing guests to their allocated parking pre-match in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Answer any guest/supporter questions, i.e. directions, facilities, etc. 
  • As a casual worker you must adhere to the club’s safeguarding policies and procedures and are committed to our safeguarding values, creating a safe and positive environment for all those who interact with the club. 
  • Obligation to adhere to the club’s health and safety policy and procedures. 
  • Actively promote the club’s equality policies and practices to ensure a welcoming, safe and inclusive environment for everyone engaged with the club. 

Matchday timings

Usually three hours prior to kick-off, but occasionally more. Post-match may be required at times. 

Key Knowledge

Familiarity with Vitality Stadium / matchdays is desirable, but instruction can be given together with supporter from exiting parking team members.

Person specification

The club’s values are at the core of its staff behaviour and how they approach everything they do, therefore we are looking for someone is honest, inclusive, kind, hardworking, loyal, and respectful.

In addition, a smart appearance and desire to deliver an excellent experience to guests and supporters is required.
