Keeping cool with Ake for City

We sat down with Nathan Ake to find out what makes him one of the coolest and calmest players in the Premier League, ahead of our game with Manchester City.

The defender talks to MATCHDAY about the challenge of moving abroad to join Chelsea in his teens and how his life has changed since swapping the hustle and bustle of London with the more sedate pace of Bournemouth - and how all of his experiences have created the calm player we now see at Vitality Stadium.

As well as picking up a copy ahead of kick-off, or online here, you can also download a digital version (here for iOS and here for Android) which is now compatible with screen readers.

Also packed into the 100+ pages for the visit of the champions:

  • We catch up with Carl Fletcher who tells us all about the loan market and the Cherries' role in getting the best experiences possible for the club's players.
  • Stickers! Get your latest back of official AFC Bournemouth stickers, free and included in the back of the programme.
  • With International Women's Day around the corner, BBC presenter Eilidh Barbour talks about Manchester City's women's team and how the sport is progressing.
  • The latest round of the season-long trivia battle between the under-18s and under-21s continues, with the younger squad one ahead and Jordan Holmes and Tom Hanfrey up next.
  • In the 16-page Extra Time pull-out, younger fans can put up a huge Nathan Ake poster, follow the Dutch star's career in photos and try their best against our bumper quiz.

And, as ever, there is plenty more besides from around the club, all still priced at £3.50.

So make sure you don't miss out and you pick up a copy of MATCHDAY ahead of Saturday's game.
