Club introduce new accessibility cards

AFC Bournemouth are introducing new accessibility cards for supporters that may have a disability, medical condition or an access requirement on a matchday.

Following feedback from the club’s equality focus group, the club has acted to introduce the cards to enable those supporters to easily identify themselves to matchday stewards and club staff should they require assistance on matchday.

It will also help to ensure that supporters are able to access facilities they may require in the stadium, such as toilets, concourse counters and entrances without having to explain to club staff the nature of their disability or their access needs.

Cards are available to all supporters that are registered to the club.

Any supporter that would like an accessibility card should fill out the online form at the bottom of this article with details of your disability, medical condition and/or access requirements.

Alternatively, a PDF version of the form can be downloaded here, and can be posted, emailed to disability@afcb.co.uk, or dropped back at the club’s ticket office.

Once the form has been submitted, supporters will receive a confirmation email and the card will be posted out to them.

Don’t forget, these cards are optional for supporters and club staff and matchday stewards will still be happy to continue to assist supporters without one.

In addition, the club also has a confidential text phone number. If you hear or witness any offensive behaviour during the game, or have any difficulties, then you are welcome to text the confidential incident reporting hotline; 07968 980580.
