Brighton: Pre-Match Trial information

AFC Bournemouth can confirm that for Sunday’s match against Brighton & Hove Albion, fans will again be permitted to consume food and beverages anywhere within the green perimeter fencing ahead of kick-off.

Due to the success of our pre-match pilot at the Manchester United fixture earlier this month, and with the continued support of the local authorities and police service, the trial allowing supporters to purchase alcohol from the various points of sale around the stadium exterior will continue this weekend.

Supporters are asked to have their ticket ready when coming onto the grounds of Vitality Stadium, as there will be a soft ticket check implemented on arrival at the perimeter fencing. Supporters will simply need to show their matchday ticket at this point. A mixed zone has been introduced that will allow home and away fans access to the ticket office.

News of the trial’s extension follows positive feedback received during the recent Fan Advisory Board meeting, and the club now looks forward to creating another great pre-match atmosphere for everybody.

In line with the usual admission process, a security check and ticket scan will occur once a supporter is set to enter the stadium at the turnstiles.

In accordance with the license conditions, we continue to operate with the Challenge 25 policy and ensure all our guests drink responsibly. Anyone deemed intoxicated or abusive will be refused service in line with our zero-tolerance policy.
