AFC Bournemouth supporting Bournemouth Pride

AFC Bournemouth is delighted to once again be teaming up with Proud Cherries to support Bourne Free, Bournemouth’s pride festival.

Thousands of people are expected to line the streets in town this weekend to watch the parade and take in everything that’s on offer.

This is the third year the club has supported Bourne Free and the second since the launch of Proud Cherries, the club’s official LGBT supporter group.

This year, Proud Cherries will be entering a float in the parade with the support of Bournemouth University.

The parade will run from 11am until approximately noon, travelling from Bournemouth’s East Cliff to the Triangle.

Supporters are invited to join club staff, Proud Cherries and Cherry Bear in the parade to increase AFC Bournemouth’s presence in the celebrations by emailing proudcherries@gmail.com.

AFC Bournemouth Community Sports Trust will also be supporting the free Family Fun Night in the Triangle on Friday 12th July from 5pm with the popular Powerstrike.

The event includes an outdoor screening of the film ‘Inside Out’ with free candy floss, popcorn and face painting.
