Tindall: It's been a tough week for the lads on the training ground, the last two games have been a test

AFC Bournemouth AFC Bournemouth

Jordon Ibe's wonderful solo goal gave the Cherries a victory, which sees them remain unbeaten in the pre-season calendar.

Tindall has been pleased with the pre-season results but maintains that it's all about minutes as the Cherries edge ever closer to the opening day fixture with Manchester United.

"It's good to back home after a successful tour and successive away games," Tindall told Cherries Player HD.

"Reading and Cardiff are good Championship sides, it's not so long ago they were in the Premier League. It's been a great test for us, both games have come after a real tough week on the training ground.

"The lads worked extremely hard and it's all about minutes at this stage, and hoping everyone comes through injury free."

Tindall's hopes of a clean bill of health going into next week were put into doubt when Harry Arter went down and was substituted due to a knock against the Bluebirds.

But the Cherries' assistant manager believes its nothing serious and also hopes to have Junior Stanislas, who had a hernia operation, back training soon.

"Harry came off today and we'll assess him as soon as possible," Tindall continued.

"It doesn't look serious though and hopefully he'll be fine.

"Junior came through a successful operation on his hernia and we hope to have him back very soon.

"We also welcomed back Adam Smith - he's been frustrated in the fact that he wanted to train sooner, but the medical team have managed him well.

"It was a good 45 minutes for him and hopefully we can get everyone fit ahead of Manchester United."
