Gosling teaches local pupils about road safety

Written by afcb.co.uk

Gosling, along with first team coach and club ambassador Steve Fletcher, turned up at the primary school where the Cherries’ Community Sports Trust were teaching Year 5 classes.

The pupils learned about travelling and playing safe, involving buses, walking and bicycles, with each of the three classes taking part in an educational workshop and a practical lesson.

They were also taken outside to have a look at the AFC Bournemouth-branded yellow bus, where Gosling and Fletcher spoke to the youngsters about road safety, posed for photographs and signed autographs.

“It is so important for children to learn about being safe on the roads, and if we can help get the message across then I am more than happy to be involved,” said Gosling.

“It was great to meet all the pupils. They were very keen to learn and hopefully they enjoyed the afternoon as much as we did.”
