Watch: Bond on father's 70/71 achievement

Kevin Bond was welcomed back to Vitality Stadium recently to talk about his father and his teenage memories of the 1970/71 promotion-winning season with the Cherries.

The former AFC Bournemouth player and manager moved to the south coast with his father John ahead of the season, having a unique view of the achievement before making his own name in the game.

The interview with club historian Neil Vacher coincides with the 50th anniversary of the club's first Football League promotion when they escaped the fourth tier in a season when Ted MacDougall netted a remarkable 49 goals.

Vacher's newly-published book 'Goal Along with the Cherries' celebrates the season, capturing the mood of the squad and the world around them in colour illustrations and match reports.
