Watch: 70/71 Legends MacDougall, Miller & Sainty reunited

In a very special get together, club historian Neil Vacher invited three Cherries legends to discuss and remember the parts they played in the club's first Football League promotion in 1970/71.

Ted MacDougall, who netted a club record 49 goals during the campaign, joined the online call from Florida, while from the UK captain Keith Miller and forward John Sainty were also brought together to remember their tussles, punishment trips to the pier, 50-year-old sports science and many more things besides.

The series of commemorative events coincide with the publication of Vacher's 'Goal Along with the Cherries' a special 250-page book filled with illustrations, match reports and stories to tell the tale of a remarkable season.

To purchase your copy of the book, which is out now, click here or pick up a copy from the club Superstore at Vitality Stadium.
