As one of the most experienced members of the Cherries squad, captain Sian Tilly is deep into her second spell with the club.
The midfielder started her career with AFC Bournemouth over ten years ago, playing her first competitive matches with the side before a spell away. Now entering her third season back with Steve Davies’ squad, she is an integral member of the team.
During the 2016/17 season, Tilly made 23 appearances over the course of the campaign, winning one Player of the Match award and netting one goal as she captained the side to promotion and cup victory.
Last year was a similar story, with Tilly making the joint highest number of appearances in the squad, as the Cherries once again won promotion to the Southern Region Women’s Premier League.
She’ll be looking for more of the same success during the 2018/19 campaign.
