Helen Corbin has been with the Cherries for six seasons, initially playing her football in the youth teams before stepping up to the senior squads.
Having stood out at youth level, winning Players’ Player of the Season for her efforts in the under-16s, she enjoyed her first successful campaign with the Development Team during the 2017/18 season.
Having worked her way into the first team towards the end of 2019/20 after a string of strong performances, Corbin finished the season with two goals in two appearances for Steve Cuss' side.
The striker continued where she left off as the new season got underway in September 2020, coming off the bench to score two goals in the FA Cup against Eastleigh in her first appearance of the campaign.
Sadly, Covid-19 drew a halt to the 2020/21 campaign and it again caused problems last season, but Corbin had a prominent role as the Cherries reached the first round proper of the FA Cup for the second time and ended up with promotion to the National League, after their application of upward movement was successful.
Alongside playing, the striker has previously been a regular attendee of the Community Sports Trust's Premier League Kicks and Girls' programme, representing the club at the Premier League Kicks Cup and playing against teams from all over the country.
She now works as an apprentice for the Community Sports Trust.
