Elle Elkins

Position:
Midfielder
Date of birth:
3rd April 2005
Nationality:
English
Previous clubs:
AFC Bournemouth U16s

Elle Elkins broke into the first team at AFC Bournemouth less than a month after her 16th birthday in April 2021.

She made her debut in a 2-0 Subsidiary Cup win away at Southampton Women, becoming one of the youngest players to feature for the club in recent history.

Having joined the Cherries in the under-12 age group, she went on to have league success almost immediately.

Working her way up through the age groups, Elkins won the Hampshire Cup at under-14 level, before featuring in the Junior Premier League with the under-16s.

The midfielder's talent has also been recognised on a national scale, representing England Schools when she was 15 and heading out to Eindhoven for two fixtures.

In 2021/22, her first full season in the senior squads, she made 22 appearances in the National League for Steve Cuss’ side, before backing it up the following year by featuring on a further 23 occasions.

In addition, she started the 2023 Hampshire Cup final, which saw the Cherries defeat Southampton on penalties to win the competition for the first time.
