Matt Divine has been coaching within the Community Sports Trust for ten years.
He joined Steve Cuss in the women's set up ahead of the 2019/20 season, having previously managed the development squad to two promotions in the Hampshire Women’s League.
During his opening campaign with the first team, he helped the side to top spot in the Southern Region Women’s Premier League, before the season was halted due to the outbreak of Covid-19.
Another disrupted season followed in 2020/21, but the club's application of upward movement was successful in May, meaning Divine, Cuss and their side competed in step four for the first time the following year.
More recently, he helped coach the side to their first Hampshire Cup, as the Cherries beat Southampton on penalties to lift the trophy in May 2023.
Divine has also spent time working as a goalkeeper coach in the girls’ youth teams and is currently the club’s Premier League Primary Stars’ co-ordinator.
