Elliot Whiteside works as the lead sport scientist within the club’s development squad.
He started off as the club’s academy sport science intern in 2015, before moving onto a full-time role within Norwich City’s under-18s for three years.
In 2018, he returned to the south coast, working as the club’s academy sport scientist, focusing specifically on the development of players aged 9-16.
Two years later and Whiteside moved up to work with the club’s development squad and has stayed in the role ever since.
He has an undergraduate degree in Sport Science from Brunel University and is currently finishing a masters in Sports and Exercise Nutrition at Ulster University.
