Having previously played for the club and subsequently taking charge of the under-23s, Carl Fletcher is now the club’s loan player manager.
The Welsh midfielder began his playing career with the Cherries in 1997, scoring 19 goals in 193 appearances.
Fletcher moved to West Ham United in 2004, playing in the 2006 FA Cup final, and also played for Watford and Crystal Palace, finishing his career at Barnet in 2014.
He got his first taste of management as caretaker manager of Plymouth Argyle in 2011 and was later given the job on a permanent basis up until 2013.
Then managing the Cherries’ under-18s side, Fletcher guided his team to silverware in the 2016/17 season, defeating Luton Town 2-1 to win the regional EFL Youth Alliance Cup final, before seeing off Wigan Athletic 4-2 in the national EFL Youth Alliance Cup final.
With Stephen Purches' promotion to first team coach, Fletcher stepped into the under-23s manager role in the summer of 2017.
Just over a year into the role, he now manages our loan players and will monitor those from the first team and the under-23s squad.
