Brad Smith made eight appearances in his first season at the club, and after battling injuries he had to be content with showings in the cups in 2017/18.
Australia-born Smith started his career at Liverpool’s youth academy in 2008 before being called up to the first team in 2013, making his debut as a substitute against Chelsea in a 2-1 defeat in December 2013.
The full back made five appearances for Liverpool in total and also spent a short time on loan at Swindon Town before signing for the Cherries in 2016.
Smith represented England at under-17s, under-19s and at under-20s level, but switched to play for Australia in 2014 and has since made 19 appearances for the national side.
He made his debut for the Cherries during a 2-1 EFL Cup win over Morecambe and made his first Premier League appearance against Arsenal during a 3-1 defeat at The Emirates during the same season.
