Brad Smith made eight appearances in his first season at the club, and after battling injuries he had to be content with showings in the cups in 2017/18.
Australia-born Smith started his career at Liverpool’s youth academy in 2008 before being called up to the first team in 2013, making his debut as a substitute against Chelsea in a 2-1 defeat in December 2013.
The full-back made a total of five appearances for Liverpool and also spent a short time on loan at Swindon Town before signing for the Cherries in 2016.
Smith represented England at under-17, under-19 and under-20 level, but switched to play for Australia in 2014 and has since made 19 appearances for the national side.
He made his debut for the Cherries during a 2-1 EFL Cup win over Morecambe in August 2016 and made his first Premier League appearance against Arsenal during a 3-1 defeat at The Emirates during the same season.
In 2017/18, Smith featured in the Cherries' Carabao Cup ties against Birmingham and Brighton and also in the FA Cup third round against Wigan.
In August 2018, he joined Major League Soccer club Seattle Sounders on a season-long loan.
