Ben Pearson arrived at the Cherries in January 2021, completing a move from Preston North End.
The combative midfielder began his career at Manchester United, signing as a nine-year-old in July 2004.
He made his debut for the under-18s side aged just 14, featuring in a friendly with Maltese side Hibernians in October 2009.
After recovering from a bout of glandular fever in 2011, he became a regular fixture in the under-18 side and was named the Jimmy Murphy Young Player of the Year award in 2012/13.
He made appearances in the UEFA Youth League and established himself in the under-21 side before joining Barnsley on an initial one-month-loan in January 2015.
The midfielder impressed in League One, scoring his first professional goal in a 2-1 win over Port Vale, only his third senior appearance.
His loan deal was extended until the end of the 2014/15 season as Pearson made 22 appearances for the Tykes in all competitions.
Pearson remained at Oakwell for the first-half of the 2015/16 season, playing 23 times in League One.
Interest in the midfielder was high and he completed a permanent move to Championship side Preston North End in January 2016.
He quickly established himself as a key member of the side at Deepdale, scoring his first goal for the club in a 2-0 win over Aston Villa in October 2016.
The former England youth international, who has represented his country from under-16 to under-20 level, made 165 appearances for the Lilywhites across five years at the club.
Pearson arrived at Vitality Stadium on January 29th 2021 for an undisclosed fee, signing a three-and-a-half year contract. He took the number 22 shirt.
