Women’s team visit Stourfield Junior School

AFC Bournemouth AFC Bournemouth

Women’s team trio Abby Jones, Katie Scadding and Daniela Kosinska visited Stourfield Junior School last week to support the school’s PE lessons.

Working with the Year 5 classes throughout the morning, the players along with management team Steve Cuss and Matt Divine delivered football coaching sessions.

The three players helped to lead on the activities, stepping in to show off their skills and turns, run shooting games and referee small-sided matches.

Following a morning of activity, the women’s team were also involved in an assembly for the pupils, where they rewarded the Stourfield Junior pupils for their involvement in the lessons that morning.

Speaking to afcb.co.uk, head of AFC Bournemouth's Community Sports Trust and women’s team manager Steve Cuss said: “We enjoyed a great day at Stourfield Junior School.

“It was a pleasure to work with the Year 5s and we hope they all enjoyed working with the Women’s players.”
