Bermuda international, Kenni Thompson, has become the latest recruit to join AFC Bournemouth Women, signing from Spanish side Eibar.
The winger arrives to the UK having previously spent time in England with both Chelsea and London Bees.
As a youth player, Thompson played for both Espanyol and Barcelona, initially joining the academy of the latter, before going on to train with EU Cornella.
Her Bermuda debut came within the last six months as she looks to progress her international career while with the Cherries.
Speaking to afcb.co.uk, Thompson discussed her delight at signing for the club: "I'm really excited to be part of the group and part of the project going on here. To be on the pitch wearing the shirt will be a great feeling.
"I think what excites me most is that there is the ambition from every level, not just the people that are involved on the pitch day-to-day. People at the club are ambitious for the women's team as well as us.
"I'm finding it very cold and very windy! It's a great group of girls though and I really enjoyed my first session. Promotion is always the number one goal, but we know we need to win all of the games to get there and I'm here to try and help that."
Thompson could make her Cherries debut this weekend, as Steve Cuss' side take on Bridgwater in the National League.
