AFC Bournemouth's women's team striker Lucy Cooper proved decisive in the Adopt South Women's Senior Cup second round victory over Portsmouth.
For the second year running, the Cherries have knocked out Portsmouth, who currently sit top of the league in the third tier.
Cooper slotted home with just over ten minutes remaining to secure the win, the only goal in a hard-fought battle at Ringwood Community Hub.
It secures the Cherries' spot in the third round of the competition as they look to retain the trophy that they won at Fratton Park last season.
New signing Erin Bloomfield made her debut for the club, having completed her move to the Cherries on Saturday.
