Gallery: Cherries bring up century of goals

AFC Bournemouth women scored their 100th goal of the season in their 3-0 win over National League counterparts Maidenhead United on Sunday.

New loan signing Kelci Bowers came off the bench to mark her debut with the landmark goal which completed the scoring in the 77th minute at York Road.

Fellow new recruit Ellie Butler started the ball rolling when she drew first blood against the Magpies with a well-taken opener after seven minutes.

Steve Cuss’s team created a number of chances and were rewarded for their endeavours when Molly Barron-Clark doubled their lead midway through the second half.

Bowers sealed victory late on as Cuss’s team closed the gap on Division One South West leaders Exeter City to six points, the Cherries still having two games in hand on the Grecians.
